I got the job! my first one ever!

#1

I went in for my interview pretty nervous. Thankfully, I wasn’t anxious. My job coach, Maria, did well to prep me an hour before the interview.

I went in and the interviewer really just wanted to know more about my experience with tutoring children. That was mostly the basis of the interview and I wasn’t asked any difficult questions.

The interviewer told me that she’d be running a background check this weekend and have me go through a paid training period for about two weeks.

I have a job, you guys. My first ever part-time job…

I was so excited (still am) that I just had to let my mentors know.

Needless to say, they had the best responses.

Well, here’s a crazy update…

I emailed the interviewer earlier, asking when I should come in tomorrow and received this response.

While this is disappointing, I am taking this as a learning process.

I ask for prayers from all of you. For time for me to process this entire situation.

Thank you for all of your encouragement. It means more than the world to me.

Love you all.

So sorry about that. If they are have issues that caused them to withdraw their offer you are better off not working there in the first place. You could have been laid off after a short amount of time.
Hopefully this just means that something better is coming.
